Wah tapi sedih juga finalis Indonesia gak jadi menang, euh neng Karenina kalah tersisihkan sama finalis negara lain di Miss World Johannesburg 2009. Pol Kaiane berhasil menyingkirkan tiga finalis cantik asal Meksiko, Puerto Rico dan Bargados.

(AP) JOHANNESBURG – Leggy brunette Kaiane Aldorino from Gibraltar has been named as the new Miss World.

Aldorino was crowned at a glittering two-hour pageant in Johannesburg Saturday as silver confetti rained down onstage around her. She clapped her hands to her mouth when her name was announced.

Aldorino said she “had no words” to describe how she felt about her win, but that she was “really happy.”

She was a crowd favorite and won the swimsuit competition. The loudest cheers were reserved for Miss South Africa, Tatum Keshwar. Keshwar was the second runner-up.

First runner-up was Miss Mexico, Perla Beltran Acosta.
