Seperti kita tau Apple Tablet telah rolling sebagai rumor sejak lama dan pada kenyataanya si cantik ini telah menjadi rumor hampir 10 tahun terakhir. Steve Jobs naik ke panggung dalam Apple Event di San Francisco dan mengumumkan kepada khalayak bahwa perangkat baru mereka akan disebut iPad. Gadget yang hanya mempunyai ketebalan setengah inci ini mempunyai berat 0,6 kilogram. Dengan layar 9,7 inci touch screen, andalan terbaru Apple ini bertenaga microchip 1GHz Apple A4 custom-designed, high-performance, low-power system-on-a-chip. Apple iPad akan mempunyai sistem operasi yang sama dengan iPhone dan mempunyai akses mencapai 140,000 aplikasi.
Pertama mari kita melihat lebih dekat untuk harga Apple iPad ini. Untuk versi 16GB akan bibandrol seharga $ 499, yang 32GB akan bibandrol $ 599 dan untuk versi 64GB akan dikenakan harga $ 699. Semua model ini datang dengan Wi-Fi, untuk menambahkan 3G akan ditambah tarif senilai $ 130 untuk setiap model. Standar model Wi-Fi akan mulai meluncur dalam 60 hari, dengan versi 3G akan datang dalam 90 hari kedepan. Untuk versi internasional sendiri akan tersedia mulai bulan Juni 2010.
